Senior Producer

We are looking to expand our development team in Bremen, Germany with a Senior Producer who will support us in finishing the game.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning, control, supervision, and documentation of the game development process
  • Setting milestones together with executive management and team leads and making sure to meet these deadlines
  • Propose/advise decisions to management
  • Provide executive management with reports about the game and team performance
  • Direction of the daily operations of the development team (including mentoring, conducting meetings, early detection of potential risks, adherence to time limits, and quality requirements)
  • Setting team and personal goals on a regular basis

Requirements and skills:

  • 4+ years experience in game production, having worked on and released multiple game projects, preferably on multiple platforms
  • Solid understanding of game development and video game technologies, with experience in all phases of development
  • Organized, methodological, disciplined and forward-thinking approach to work
  • Experience with international, distributed teams with 30+ members
  • Experience in applying agile practices to game development, and the contextual challenges it brings
  • Excellent reasoning, communication and presentation skills in English in order to convey complex information in a clear and suitable manner to a diverse audience
  • Ability to foster a positive, evolving team culture and environment to support engagement, ownership, and accountability

Environment Artist

For the upcoming career mode of our game BeamNG.drive we are looking for a motivated and skilled Environment Artist to join our team in Bremen, Germany. You will get the chance to implement own ideas, work together with an international team of artists and developers, and, most importantly, actively contribute to the look of the finished game.

Responsibilities:

  • Producing high quality assets, both technically and artistically
  • Ensure performance and technical quality of 3D environment assets
  • Optimization of assets to fit technical requirements and specifications provided by all relevant departments
  • Setting up materials and shaders for in-house engine
  • Design assets in collaboration with 2D/Concept artists
  • Work together and communicate closely with art department and other team members

Requirements:

  • Experience with digital content creation tools such as Photoshop 
  • Great understanding of next gen asset creation workflows
  • Experience with modeling and texturing of environment assets: hard surface as well as some organic (sculpting)
  • Experience with creating complex environments in a next generation, real time pipeline
  • Experience working within and implementing 3D work into a game engine
  • Very good skills in 3DS Max or Blender
  • High responsibility and self motivation to discover and solve problems alone and in a team 
  • Strong English skills (written and verbal): All communication will be in English

Bonus:

  • Experience in Substance Designer, Substance Painter, Zbrush, Photoshop xnormal, World Machine
  • Basic knowledge of physically based rendering (PBR)
